About Us

Lupe Valdez is a film producer based in Austin, Texas. He works on feature films, short films and other multimedia projects.

Lupe received a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Since then, he has immersed himself in nearly every aspect of the film industry.

Lupe was a talent agent at ACCLAIM TALENT for 7 years. ACCLAIM TALENT leads as one of the top agencies in Texas and Valdez helped actors book speaking roles for major project such as No Country for Old Men, Prison Break and Friday Night Lights. Because of his experience as an agent, Valdez knows what casting directors are looking for and what type of work can be found in the Texas area.

Lupe also worked LA Theatrical for the prestigious TAG Talent (The Atherton Group) in 2015.   Arriving in LA Lupe has worked on various films. As of April 2016 he has joined the staff of The Marlene Agency working on commercial and theatrical submissions for LA projects.

 

Being involved in the Austin film industry for over fifteen years, Valdez is very connected in local organizations and major film events in the Austin area and Los Angeles. He has volunteered at SXSW for twelve years and worked as a as a film panelist for 2 years. Moreover, Valdez served as a board member and membership coordinator for the National Association of Latino Independent Producers in Austin.
